Launching January 2022

We have begun recruiting members for an upcoming weekly virtual group for queer and TGNC (trans and gender non-conforming) adults (18+).

Some primary goals of the group will be:

  • to reduce feelings of loneliness and alienation by connecting to community and exchanging support, affirmation, and encouragement.

  • to provide opportunities for healing and release through the sharing of feelings and experiences.

  • to gain awareness of the strengths and limitations of interpersonal behavior through shared feedback and exploration.

  • to provide a space to practice new skills and behaviors in a safe and supportive environment.

This 8-week closed group will have an anticipated start date of January 18th, and will be held on Tuesday's from 6:30-8:00pm with a cost of $30 per session per person.

The group will be co-facilitated by staff therapist Deirdre Malinske MHC-LP, and our amazing intern Francesca Sills. They are both queer-identified therapists with a great deal of cumulative experience working with queer and TGNC clients.

Launch Date TBD

In February 2022, we will begin recruiting members for a weekly virtual group for parents of LGBTQ+ people (children and adults).

The group will focus on:

  • helping parents to develop their own identity as supportive allies to their LGBTQ+ child(ren)

  • identifying and gaining resources

  • providing space for parents & caregivers to process their own feelings about their child’s identity in a space where their child does not have to risk harm by witnessing or holding space for these big and important feelings

This will be an 8-week closed group (start date TBD). It will be held on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm with a cost of $30 per session per person.

The group will be co-facilitated by our staff therapists Rae Legine Rodriguez, MHC-LP and Deirdre Malinske, MHC-LP. They have a great deal of cumulative experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, allies, and family members and are excited to help families become even stronger through this group.
